In the Sandbox environment of DisburseCloud, the OTP (One-Time Password) verification feature is not fully functional. This is by design, as the Sandbox environment is intended for testing and integration purposes only.
When performing payment or disbursement actions that require OTP verification, users may not receive the OTP via SMS while using the Sandbox environment.
Instead, a random OTP can be entered during testing to simulate the verification process.
Example:
Enter any 6-digit number (e.g., 123456) in the OTP input field to proceed.
The system will validate it as a successful OTP verification in the Sandbox environment.
In the Production environment, OTP verification works as intended.
The payee receives a valid OTP via SMS.
The correct OTP must be entered to complete verification.
Without a valid OTP, the payee cannot access or claim the payment.
The OTP feature in the Sandbox is only a mock verification for testing flow continuity.
Always validate OTP functionality on the Production server before going live.
If you are not receiving OTPs in Production, please contact support to verify configuration settings.
